As a special activity, each school in the Dancing Classrooms program is invited to take part in a Pittsburgh-wide team match called the “Colors of the Rainbow.” At the close of each semester, 12 students from each school advance to this competition.

Each school is identified by a color, with ladies wearing colored sashes and the gentlemen wearing colored cards pinned to their backs.

Colors of the Rainbow is both an exciting competition as well as a showcase for the skills the students have learned though Dancing Classrooms.

The event is free, and people of all ages are welcome to attend.
