Turn Back the Clock Tuesday!

Turn Back the Clock Tuesday?  Well, we all can’t be perfect….and I let it go on for too long.  What, you ask, did I forget?  The 5th grade Colors of the Rainbow Semi-Finals video!  Special shout out to Archie Carpenter for the wonderful photos!

A Special Thank You

Over the past six years, Dancing Classrooms Pittsburgh has had a total of 21 major events-meet and greets, fundraisers, semi-finals, and finals.  And for each of those events, there have been pictures taken.  The number has to have exceeded 10,000 or more pictures.  Many of those pictures you see on this blog.  And some you have even seen in the Post Gazette.  We can’t say thank you enough to Lake Fong of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, and Archie Carpenter (or as we call him, The Official Photographer of Dancing Classrooms Pittsburgh).  Two great men who are passionate about the work that they do.  And don’t you think it shows?  Thanks again gentleman.  Dancing Classrooms Pittsburgh salutes you both!  Please take a bow!!!!!

Lights Camera Action!!!    Special thanks to Archie Carpenter for his incredible eye!

Inaugural 8th Grade Colors of the Rainbow Video!

You have seen the 5th graders-now here come the 8th graders!  We couldn’t be prouder of them.  Photos by Archie Carpenter and our Prevention staff.  We have also dedicated this video in honor of a young man who worked so hard throughout the entire Dancing Classrooms residency-Juaun K., an 8th grader from Pittsburgh Langley, had made such tremendous progress – completely impressing Miss Gena and the staff.  A couple of days before the finals, though, he had to have his appendix removed.  We felt it important to do something special for this young man.  If you could please share the video with at least 5 people, we think it would be a fantastic way to show him that he is a champion.

May 4, 2013 Semi-Final Video is here!

Just to prove how tough the competition was this past Saturday-check out our video.  Filled with pictures by Archie Carpenter and a few by our own PMHS Prevention staff members.  Archie always captures the essence of Dancing Classrooms.  And there is nothing more that we enjoy than sharing the love with you.  If this doesn’t encourage you to come see the talent on Saturday May 11th, 10am Pittsburgh Allderdice High School.
